YAY!! I actually gasped when your blog came up and it had been updated!! What a nice surprise!! I cannot believe how much he has changed and how BIG he is. Your breastmilk must taste good! :) Ty always loved the bath too and I would use it often, but be careful because I think that is what gave him dry skin. I'm so happy that you updated pictures of that little cutie. I'll be honest, he definately looks asian, but not like Mark. Maybe I'll have to see him in person soon1 love ya, Jenn
Here are a few things that you should know about us before reading our blogs to give you a greater understanding of who the Brooks family really is:
1. Mark has no desire to blog, so you may find that the information here is unfairly biased in my favor. :-) 2. Mark has already picked out the names of our first boy and two girls and they are Sophia Marie, Olivia Mae, and David Crawford. This decision was made before we were even married! 3. Until we know the sex of the baby, he/she is referred to as mon petit oeuf (my little egg). 4. I love my photographer and will shamelessly promote her work to anyone. The same is true for my candles... Don't be offended, just letting you know what to expect. 5. I am perhaps a bit opinionated about certain things in life, but if I say something that is ambiguous or could be taken in a way that makes you angry, I meant it the other way. 6. Grammy and Pawpaw are my mom and step-dad. My step-mom and dad are called Nana and Pawpaw. Nannie and Pawpaw are Mark's mom and dad. That's a lota Pawpaws, isn't it?
In the beginning
Mark and I were married April 22, 2006 in Cordele, Georgia at Lake Blackshear- one of our favorite relax spots. In January 2007 we purchased our first home in a small, relatively quiet town called Newnan just south of Atlanta. After 10 months of unpacking, painting, and settling in we learned that we were pregnant! Now, we are building a new room onto the house we've already outgrown and preparing for mon petit oeuf's arrival. Enjoy our blog!
I live in Newnan, Georgia with my husband, Mark, and baby, Davey. I graduated from Jonesboro High School and Georgia State University.
Mark graduated from Monroe Academy and University of Georgia and is currently attending Law School at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. He works full-time at the Fulton County Juvenile Courthouse in Atlanta.
